On Thursday March 20, 2025 Daniëlle Bruggeman marked her position as Professor by special appointment Fashion & Sustainability at Radboud University with the inaugural lecture “Stitches of Care: Practising Solidarity through Fashion”.

This conference invites an exploration of matters' artistic potential in fashion design, as they shape the body and unlock new modes of creative expression. Through experimentation and research, we hope to reveal materials' previously undiscovered capacities and agencies in fashion design, unlocking novel ways of thinking, being, wearing and living.

At the Dutch Design Week 2023 we are organizing an exclusive presentation and work session around the ArtEZ Designing Shape Shanging Textiles (DSCT) project at Evoluon in Eindhoven.
